TÜV Rheinland also issues SG Mark especially
for testing the quantities of toxic materials in leather products.
Once a product has been qualified, TÜV Rheinland will issue
a certificate and perform spot checks regularly. The test
is mainly to detect the quantities of arylamines, formaldehyde
and PCP are within regulated limits. For products designed
for children or infants, the standards specified are stricter.
