| TCO Development is owned by
TCO, the Swedish Confederation of Professional Employees. TCO
Development aims to create the conditions for a good work environment
at the office workplaces by developing quality certification and
environmental labeling systems for office equipment and systems
for the assessment of office work environments.TÜV Rheinland
Taiwan Ergonomics Laboratory is the first laboratory in Asia accredited
by SWEDAC and authorized to conduct these tests by TCO.
| TCO'95 |
| The
basic principle of TCO '95 is for you as a user to have
a better work environment. The last date to apply for
certification according to TCO'95 will be December 30th,
2003. The application must be complete and received
by TCO Development no later than this date. |

| TCO'99 |

TCO '99 is the quality certification and environmental label.
It covers CRT displays, flat panel displays, computer units,
keyboards, and portable computers.TCO'99 concerns: visual
ergonomics, emissions, energy saving, electrical safety, ecology,
etc.TCO '99 is a revised version of TCO '95 in which the requirements
have been made stricter and a number of new ones have been
added. TCO '99 was introduced in October 1998. |

| TCO'03 |
| TCO '03
is the fourth labeling standard from TCO Development. It is
a revised version of TCO '99 in the sense that its requirements
cover the same products. The areas in which requirements have
been set are the same, but the requirements have been made
stricter and a number of new requirements have been added.
TCO '03 was introduced in November 2002. |
